I grew up in a small town in Illinois....well it was somewhat famous, come on, it WAS the Hog Captial of the World. There's a sign to prove it too....and yes, I was the Hog Queen...something my cute lil' husband just loves to tell people;). Which brings me to my husband....he too, grew up right alongside me. We actually 'loved' each other in 8th grade. True, at the mere age of 13 we experienced our first kiss, which was a quick peck~by the way, smack dab in the middle of a lumber yard. Oh the romance. We've been married for almost 20 years and have two amazing boys, and I thank God daily for all of them! I studied acting/theatre and earned my B.A. in Chicago, worked odd acting/modeling jobs and had a career in executive retail management, but out of all of my 'jobs', being a wife and mother has been the absolute most rewarding of them all. I'm just ME...a small town gal, a wife, a mom and a little crazy.
